The O Level Economics examination format comprises of two parts, the multiple choice questions (MCQs) and the Economics structured questions.
For Paper 1, which is the O Level Economics MCQs, students are required to answer 30 MCQs within 45 minutes. The mark weighting is 30%. For Paper 2, which is the O Level Economics structured questions, students are required to complete one compulsory case study question (CSQ) and choose 3 Economics essay questions out of 6 to write and complete within 2 hours and 15 minutes. The mark weighting is 70%.
